Supporting KNX UK at the Smart Buildings Show 2026
The AVINU team recently attended the Smart Buildings Show 2026 at ExCeL London, supporting KNX UK within the Building Automation Pavilion.
Managing Director, Darryl Roberts, was on the KNX UK stand throughout the day, welcoming visitors and discussing everything from the core capabilities and long-term benefits of KNX technology to industry training, accreditation, and real-world applications.
Championing Open-Standard Intelligent Homes
The event provided an ideal opportunity to share how AVINU has successfully embraced KNX across our intelligent home projects for more than 16 years. Throughout the day, we demonstrated how this powerful, open-standard protocol brings together smart lighting, HVAC and climate control, automated shading, and energy management to deliver smarter, more efficient, and beautifully integrated homes.
Because KNX is manufacturer-independent and backwards-compatible, it gives homeowners, architects, and M&E consultants complete confidence that the infrastructure installed today will continue to evolve and perform reliably for decades to come.
Industry Collaboration & Innovation
Alongside supporting visitors on the stand, the show was a fantastic occasion for the wider AVINU team to catch up with industry colleagues, explore emerging hardware and software developments, and see the continued evolution of connected building automation first-hand.
A big thank you to KNX UK for the opportunity to support the stand at the Building Automation Pavilion, and to everyone who stopped by for a conversation. It was a thoroughly rewarding day out for the AVINU team, filled with plenty of inspiration and valuable discussions.
