Meet Tom

Tom Green is Head of KNX Programming at AVINU, leading the development and implementation of control systems across the company’s projects. He is responsible for translating system designs into fully functioning, intuitive environments, ensuring each property performs exactly as intended.

Experience & Expertise

Tom joined AVINU in 2018 as an apprentice and has progressed through the business to become a key technical lead within the team. His expertise lies in programming KNX systems using ETS, where he develops the underlying software architecture and manages the detailed addressing required for each project. He also delivers system visualisation across a range of platforms, working with leading manufacturers including Gira, Basalte and Jung. In addition, Tom is a certified programmer across Control4, Elan and RTI, giving him a broad understanding of integrated home technologies and control platforms.

At AVINU, Tom is known for his technical precision and methodical approach to programming complex systems. He plays a key role in both project delivery and early-stage planning, supporting the team in defining system requirements and ensuring seamless integration across all elements of a home.

Personal

Outside of work, Tom is a passionate music fan and enjoys spending time with friends and family. He is also a loyal, if occasionally frustrated, supporter of Tottenham Hotspur.
